Playable Chord Voicings (V1–V6) & Shell Grips ▾
Unlike generic chord charts that output unplayable stretches or reduce extended harmonies to basic three-note shapes, TwinkleLab's biomechanical chord solver verifies every voicing against a 4-finger human hand model (maximum 3-fret span, natural middle-to-ring finger reach, and movable index-finger barre shapes requiring at most 3 fingers above the barre).
Use the Bank Mode selector to separate 7th, Extended & Shell Chords (maj7, m7, 7, maj9, m9, 9, m11, add9, 6/9, maj7#11, m7b5, dim7) from Pure Triads & Suspended Chords (maj, m, sus2, sus4, dim, aug, 5). Extended chords always retain their defining 7th, 9th, 11th, or 6th interval while allowing no-5th shell voicings and strategic top, bottom, or inside string muting (6-X-4-3-2-X, X-5-4-3-2-X, and Drop-2 four-string shapes).

String Tension Physics & Odd-Time MIDI / Tab ▾
Retuning a standard .010–.046 string set to alternate or drop tunings can cause high strings (such as G3 tuned up to A3 or B3 tuned up to C4/C#4) to exceed 22 lbs of pull or low strings to go floppy below 12 lbs. TwinkleLab computes exact string tension in lbs and kg across straight scale lengths (24.0" Jaguar, 24.75" Les Paul, 25.0" PRS, 25.5" Strat/Tele, 26.5"–27.5" Baritone) and multi-scale fanned frets.
Queue any sequence of chords into the Odd-Time Progression Looper (supporting 4/4, 3/4, 5/4, 6/8, 7/8, 9/8, and 11/8 time signatures), audition with 9 synthesized instruments including Concert Grand Piano and Vintage Rhodes, and export directly to ASCII Guitar Tab (.TXT), Standard MIDI (.MID), or a shareable PNG Chord Sheet.
